Annual Portfolio Competitions

On Tuesday Gavin Forrest DPAGB from Clydesdale Camera Club judged both the 'Hugh Shaw Print Portfolio' and the 'Bill Kennedy Projected Image Portfolio' competitions.

The print competition was close run with three competitors all scoring 49 points for their three prints. The winning panel was awarded 50 points and was submitted by Bob Arnott. Bob's prints were of 'Bamburgh Castle', Dunstanburgh Castle' and 'Craster Coast'.

This years winning entry in the 'Bill Kennedy Projected Image Portfolio', was submitted by Dave Thompson. Dave's panel was entitled 'Edinburgh Pub and Grub' and his winning images were 'Deacon Broadie', Mussel Bar', Oz Bar, and 'White Hart' All of Dave's images were taken during a club outing late last year and it is denied that drink and grub were taken at all photograph venues.

Next Tuesday the club visit Lesmahagow.

Next meeting at Lanark is on Tuesday April 5th when Andrew Wylie and Dave Thompson will demonstrate their techniques on Portraiture.
